Rage Central - Rage the Game and id Tech 5 Resource

Just a few minor updates here, including some news from the recent GDC Event.

GDC recently wrapped up and while there was sadly no news on Rage, id Software were kind enough to shed some light on Quake Live (originally Quake Zero), including details on the ingame advertising which will be supported. You can read more about this at IGN, and sign up for the Quake Live Beta here.

I've also began populating the id Tech sections, starting with id Tech 4. Although there's still alot missing, you'll find a fair selection of videos, mod and game details, and information relative to the engine, with plenty more to come soon.

Thank's to everyone who has signed up to Rage Central so far and for all of your emails, hopefully we'll have some real news on Rage soon!

Happy New Year Folks! I know this comes a little late but I don't count the year as really starting until I'm back at work... ugh.

Anyway I hope you had a good Winter Holiday, we've certainley plenty to look forward to this year in the games industry with some major titles hitting all platforms.

On February 18-22 the GDC (Game Developers Conference) will be taking place, and id software have a pretty large booth they'll be showcasing some upcoming projects from (fingers crossed for plenty of Rage and RTCW2 media!!). Thanks to PBmax at Doom3world for posting this floor plan for the event.

Hopefully we'll have plenty to report on around that time, before then I hope to get all the relevant Game Engine Pages online. Thankyou to everyone who's visited the site so far and enlisted with our Mailing List.

Hello there and welcome to Rage Central, a new web site which aims to bring you all the latest media, updates and information regarding id Softwares newly announced game 'Rage' and the technology behind it : id tech 5.

Given that Rage is currently in a very early state of exposure and development, the amount of information and media on here isn't in particularly great abundance. This will change over the coming months as all details revealed on the game will find their way here. However if you find any bits of info or media released regarding Rage or id Software in general, please send us an email via the link below and we'll get it added to the site!

You'll also find on this web site, information and media regarding id's many game engines, including that which will power Rage - id Tech 5. These pages are still being developed and will be uploaded in the coming weeks.
